In the heart of the Amazon rainforest, a team of documentary filmmakers led by the ambitious filmmaker Terri Flores (Jennifer Lopez) are on a mission to capture the legendary Shirishama tribe on film. Joining them is the enigmatic snake hunter Paul Serone (Jon Voight), who claims to know the whereabouts of the tribe.
As they venture deeper into the jungle, they come across a stranded poacher named Danny Rich (Ice Cube) and a stranded boat. Serone convinces the team to take a detour and help him recover his boat, promising them a shortcut to the tribe. However, his true intentions are soon revealed when he leads them into the dangerous territory of the deadly anaconda, a massive and powerful snake that preys on anything in its path.
