The film opens with a peaceful day in Acme Acres, where Bugs Bunny is munching on a carrot, and Daffy Duck is attempting to film a documentary about himself. Suddenly, the tranquility is shattered when an alien spacecraft lands in the middle of the park, led by the bumbling extraterrestrial, Zorgon, who has come to Earth to collect "Earth's most valuable resource": laughter!

Zorgon, voiced by a comedic actor, misunderstands human culture and believes that to harvest laughter, he must create chaos. He deploys a series of outlandish gadgets that cause mayhem throughout the city, from giant rubber chickens to a wave of slapstick traps that ensnare unsuspecting citizens. As chaos ensues, Bugs and Daffy realize that they must stop Zorgon before he turns Earth into his personal amusement park.

Bugs recruits his friends—Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, and Tweety Bird—who each bring their unique traits to the table. Porky’s stuttering provides comedic moments as he tries to rally the group, while Elmer, with his hunting skills, aims to capture Zorgon and his crew. Meanwhile, Tweety teams up with Sylvester, who is hilariously torn between his predatory instincts and his desire to impress Tweety.
